Plant Manager+™ Allocated Inventory Tracking (PMP-AIT)

Plant Manager+ Allocated Inventory Tracking (PMP-AIT) module tracks planned future credits and debits to the physical inventory of items. It tracks physical inventory plus expected credits and debits and when they are expected to occur. The PMP-AIT creates a powerful inventory management system for your business.

When used with the Plant Manager+ Job and Material Tracking System (PMP-JMTS), PMP-AIT creates credits for materials to be made by jobs released and also creates debits for materials to be consumed by those jobs. It releases the debits as physical inventory is consumed and releases credits as products are made by jobs. The AIT module becomes an integral component of our job costing and asset tracking tool.

When used with the Material Tracking System (PMP-MTS) and Sales Order module (PMP-SOM), it is able to show inventory allocated to customer orders but not yet packed. These debits are released when the materials are shipped to the customer. It includes the ability to release inventory debits when order line items are cancelled before being completely fulfilled. • The Plant Manager+ PMP-AIT shows inventory expected to be received from vendors against open purchase orders. The module releases these credits as the physical inventory is received from vendors. It includes the ability to automatically cancel inventory credits for under shipments on closed PO line items.
• The PMP-AIT inventory management system shows planned net inventory available versus time, with sources of production and consumption.
• PMP-AIT allows for manual adjustment of inventory credits and debits. The module also allows for special credits and debits, such as the planned arrival of "found" material or the planned disposal of excess inventory.
